This was a beautiful, chocolate brown and soft lamb-suede jacket. Now it has a new life as a bag.
The suede is thick without being hard. You really want to touch it all the time!

I decided to use a beautifull wool and silk fabric from a man suit jacket as a linning. Some of fabric comes from an inside of a jacket and some of it from the outside.
There are four pocket inside the bag which are the original pockets from the jacket, one of them is small but still very usefull to keep all your smaller things, like a ballpen.

There is also one outside pocket which closes with a magnetic closure. This pocket is on the back of the bag and is original pocket from the jacket.

I also used a beautiful, handmade, vintage embroidery with roses on this bag which goes very well with this soft suede.

The handmade strap is adjustable and will make the bag to a shoulderbag or a crossbody.

Measurments:
W: about 30 cm under the zipper and 37 cm down on the widest part (11.7 – 14.5 inches)
H: about 32 cm (12.5 inch)
D: about 8 cm ( 3 inches) on the buttom

Unique, one of a kind.

I remember the time when those colourfull leather garments were fashionable! I always dreamt of a jacket but it was much too expensive. I lived in Poland and while my mom earned $10 a month, the skirt like that costed $100!!! That was an amazing but also wierd time!

Last year we were in Vien and suddenly I saw this skirt in a secondhand shop and decided to buy it. Now it has a new life as a bag and four small cosmetic pouches. 🙂

It is linned with a nice fabric from a mens suit jacket and has three inside pockets.
The bag and the two pouches are keepers, I will use the myself 🙂 and the two small pouches will be sold on the VesterbroRAW Kunsthåndværkermarked in Copenhagen on December 2-nd.

This bag was a custom order. There is a lot of memories in it as it belonged to my customers father. Now it has a new life as a bag and can be used in really many years more.
Every pocket got it’s new linning. And a leather inner pocket is placed inside for the phone.

I did sew this bag out of the same butterly soft, lambleather jacket which I used to sew this bag
I used all the smallest pieces to sew it. And the I linned it with a beautifull fabric from a wool suit jacket. So the bag has two pockets inside, those pockets are the wool jackets original pockets.
The smallest scraps that were left I used to sew a little pouch which matches the bag.
I always use a small pouch in my bag to hold all those small things on place.

This bag is almost 100% recycling. Both leather and the fabric used here are repurposed. I love to think that no animals were suffering because of my bags.

A few days later I did sew a small pouch and cleaned the bag 🙂 I L O V E it!

This cusion is made of some leather scraps from different leather jackets which I used to make bags of. The back side is made from a thick couch leather.

This bag is made out of a beautifull soft lambleather jacket in mint condition. I do not think that it was ever used.
All leather is 100% perfect. And soft like a butter. 🙂
And I linned it with a beautifull cotton fabric with a digital print.
The brown color has many shadows, I really love it a lot!
The two outher pockets are not so small and very usefull, closed with a button.
There are also two zippered pockets inside.
The handmade strap is adjustable and makes this bag to be used as a sholder bag or as a crossbody.

This bag can hold all your stuff without being all too big. And it will last for ever.
